Two Dead, 17 Injured as Quantum Bus Overturns in Kavango West

A routine journey from Rundu to Windhoek ended in tragedy on Saturday morning when a Quantum minibus overturned in the Kavango West Region, leaving two people dead and several others injured.
The fatal crash occurred near Mahahe village, about eight kilometres from the Mururani checkpoint, at approximately 11h00. According to preliminary reports, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn along the road.
An adult and a minor were killed in the accident, while 17 passengers sustained injuries of varying severity. Emergency services responded to the scene, and the injured were transported to Rundu State Hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment.

Authorities have not yet released further details, and investigations into the exact cause of the accident are ongoing.
