Orlando Pirates continued their unbeaten start to the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season with a 2-0 victory over Marumo Gallants at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Sunday.

The Buccaneers broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute through Kabelo Kgositsile, giving Pirates a 1-0 lead going into the second half.

Pirates continued to control the match after the break and eventually doubled their advantage in the 74th minute when Nkosinathi Sibisi found the back of the net.

The 2-0 victory gives Orlando Pirates another important three points as they maintain their strong start to the league campaign. The result also leaves them just one point behind log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, with Pirates having played one match fewer.
