The match remained 0–0 after the full 90 minutes, with both teams unable to convert their chances. The game then progressed into extra time, where neither side managed to break the deadlock, forcing the encounter to be decided from the penalty spot.
In the shootout, KK Palace FC held their nerve and converted their penalties with confidence, while Mighty Gunners FC fell short, allowing KK Palace FC to claim a 5–3 victory and book their place in the final.
KK Palace FC will now wait to face the winner of the other semi-final between UNAM FC and Okahandja United FC, who are currently battling it out to determine the second finalist.
