Rundu Magistrate’s Court Administration Block Gutted by Early Morning Fire

The administration block of the Rundu Magistrate’s Court was engulfed in flames in the early hours of Thursday morning, with firefighters battling the blaze since around 02:00.
Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene and worked to contain the fire, which had already caused extensive damage by sunrise. Police officers also attended the scene and have cordoned off the affected area.
According to law enforcement officials, the cause of the fire has not yet been established, and investigations are underway. Police say a formal statement will be issued once sufficient information has been collected.
This incident comes just two weeks after a separate report indicated that an unidentified man allegedly attempted to set fire to the same court building. Authorities have not confirmed whether the two events are related.
This is a developing story, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available
