Police have launched a manhunt for a NORED driver following a hit-and-run crash

Police have launched a manhunt for a NORED driver following a hit-and-run crash on the Ondangwa–Omuthiya road.
The accident happened about 20 kilometres outside Ondangwa when a private double-cab vehicle collided with an oncoming NORED vehicle. After the crash, the NORED vehicle allegedly left the scene and has not yet been traced.
No deaths were recorded, but three people sustained minor injuries. The private vehicle was badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Onethindi Police Station commander, Inspector Kamati Kefas, confirmed that the NORED driver involved is still at large. He has called on members of the public to come forward with any information that may assist police in locating the suspect.
Inspector Kamati further said a police team will be dispatched to conduct further investigations and track down the driver involved.
