Three Killed, Six Injured in Horror Head-On Crash on Trans-Caprivi Highway

Three people have died and six others were injured following a head-on collision on the Trans-Caprivi Highway in the Kavango East Region on Sunday night.
The crash occurred around 20:00 at Dikungu village in the Mukwe Constituency. According to information gathered at the scene, a black Toyota station wagon allegedly attempted to overtake another vehicle when it collided head-on with an oncoming Ford Kuga.
The driver of the Toyota and one of his passengers died on the spot due to the impact.
The driver of the Ford Kuga, identified by relatives as Muremwa Atanasius, a specialised eye nurse from Diyana village, sustained critical injuries and was transported to Andara Roman Catholic Hospital, where he later died.
Six other occupants from both vehicles were also taken to the same hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately confirmed.
