Three Windhoek Police Officers Hospitalised after High-Speed Chase Crashes into Chinese Embassy Wall

Three police officers were injured and rushed to hospital after their vehicle crashed into a wall at the Chinese Embassy during a high-speed pursuit in Windhoek on Thursday.

The officers had been chasing a vehicle suspected of being involved in criminal activities. The suspects, reportedly driving a white Volkswagen Polo, are believed to have been targeting residents in the Ludwigsdorf area.

According to Khomas Region Criminal Investigations Division head, Deputy Commissioner Fredrik Ndjadila, one of the officers sustained serious injuries and was taken to Lady Pohamba Private Hospital for treatment. The other two officers were admitted to Katutura State Hospital.

Police investigations into the incident and the suspects involved are ongoing.
