Hilde Jairus Wins Gold for Namibia at COSSASSA Games
ZIMBABWE — Namibian athlete Hilde Jairus has won gold in the 1500m at the Under-18 COSSASSA Games currently taking place in Zimbabwe.
Jairus, who represents Utokero Athletics Club, delivered a strong performance to claim the top spot and add a gold medal to Namibia’s campaign at the regional school sports competition.
Her achievement is another proud moment for Namibian athletics and highlights the growing talent emerging from the country’s young athletes.
