Dennis Lipinge Noa Remains In Custody As Bail Hearing Postponed

Medical doctor Dennis Lipinge Noa will remain in custody after his bail application was postponed in the Ondangwa Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.

Noa appeared before the court for the continuation of his bail application in connection with an alleged sexual assault. During the proceedings, he maintained that he was not guilty and told the court that he wanted to return to work to protect his career.

He further indicated that he was prepared to comply with any conditions imposed should bail be granted. Noa told the court that, with assistance from his family, he could afford bail of N$5,000, saying he had not yet received his salary and was uncertain about his employment situation.

The court postponed the matter to 9 October for the continuation of the bail application.
