Rundu Boxing Bonanza Moved to November
Boxing fans in Rundu will have to wait a little longer for the highly anticipated MTC Sunshine Boxing & Fitness Academy Boxing Bonanza, with the event now set for 21 November 2026.
The tournament was initially scheduled for 17 October 2026, but organisers have confirmed that it has been postponed. The venue in Rundu will remain unchanged.
One of the main attractions will be a WBO title defence involving Namibia’s Martin “Alligator” Mukungu, who is set to face South African boxer Siphosethu Mvula.
The event, organised in partnership with the Kavango Regional Council, will also feature an international undercard showcasing several Namibian boxing talents.
Organisers are expected to release further information on ticket sales and the complete fight card ahead of the new date.
The postponement gives boxing fans more time to prepare for what is expected to be a major night for the sport in the Kavango region.
