Muzeu Goal Secures Namibia Victory Over Congo
Beteul Muzeu’s second-half strike earned Namibia a 1–0 victory over the Republic of Congo in their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier in Gaborone, Botswana, on Thursday.
The Brave Warriors remained disciplined throughout the match and protected their lead after Muzeu found the breakthrough shortly after the restart.
The victory gives Namibia three valuable points as they continue their campaign to qualify for AFCON 2027.
Namibia will next face Comoros on 29 September in Moroni, before taking on Cameroon in their following qualifier group match.
