Jordan Henderson and João Pedro Score Braces as Chelsea Thrash Bournemouth 5-1
Chelsea recorded a convincing 5-1 victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League, with Jordan Henderson and João Pedro scoring twice each in an impressive attacking display.
Henderson opened the scoring in the second minute after being set up by Cole Palmer, before Morgan Rogers doubled Chelsea’s advantage a minute later, with Henderson turning provider.
Chelsea continued their dominance after the break, with João Pedro making it 3-0 in the 46th minute following an assist from Pedro Neto.
Bournemouth pulled one back in the 51st minute through Evanilson, but Chelsea quickly regained control of the match.
João Pedro completed his brace in the 67th minute, converting a pass from Josep Maria Chavarria Perez to extend the hosts’ lead to 4-1.
Henderson then scored his second goal of the match in the 70th minute to seal the 5-1 victory and cap an outstanding individual performance.
The result highlighted Chelsea’s attacking strength, with Henderson contributing two goals and an assist, while João Pedro also finished with a brace.
