Erongo Women’s League reinstates weekend fixtures after cancellation
The Namport Erongo Women Regional League has reversed its earlier decision to cancel this weekend’s matches, confirming that all scheduled fixtures will now go ahead as planned.
In a new notice issued on Thursday, 5 November 2026, the league administration informed member clubs that the necessary arrangements for match officials had been made, allowing the games to proceed.
The league has instructed all clubs to continue with their preparations and follow the original fixtures, venues and kick-off times communicated earlier.
The decision comes hours after the league announced the cancellation of all weekend matches due to the unavailability of referees, who were reportedly waiting for outstanding payments.
The administration apologised for the inconvenience caused by the earlier announcement and thanked clubs for their patience, cooperation and understanding.
