Bayern Munich Held to 3-3 Draw by Viking as Michael Olise Send-off

Bayern Munich were denied victory after conceding a last-minute equaliser in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Viking FK in the UEFA Champions League league phase on Tuesday, despite recovering from a two-goal deficit.
The German giants looked set to leave Norway with all three points after turning the game around in the second half, but Viking fought back to snatch a draw in the closing moments.
Viking made a dream start when Gianni Stensness opened the scoring just two minutes into the match, finishing a move created by Zlatko Tripić to put the hosts ahead.
The Norwegian side continued to trouble Bayern and doubled their advantage in the 38th minute. Peter Christiansen found the net following an assist from Erik Botheim, leaving the visitors with a difficult task heading into half-time.
Bayern responded with three changes at the break, introducing Alphonso Davies, Dayot Upamecano and Ismael Saibari in an attempt to turn the contest around.
Their comeback began in the 54th minute when Harry Kane converted a penalty to reduce the deficit to 2-1. The England international struck again six minutes later, finishing a pass from Joshua Kimmich to bring Bayern level at 2-2.
Bayern completed their turnaround in the 71st minute when Luis Díaz scored following an assist from Konrad Laimer, giving the visitors a 3-2 lead.
However, the match took another dramatic turn two minutes later when Michael Olise was shown a red card, forcing Bayern to continue with 10 men for the remainder of the contest.
The numerical advantage gave Viking renewed hope, and the home side pushed forward in search of a late equaliser.
Their persistence paid off in the 90th minute when Herman Haugen scored from a Zlatko Tripić assist, rescuing a point for Viking and leaving Bayern frustrated after surrendering their lead.
The result marked a remarkable comeback for Viking, who recovered from losing their two-goal advantage and falling behind in the second half to secure a 3-3 draw against the German side.
For Bayern, the late goal proved costly as they were unable to protect their advantage after Olise’s dismissal.
