Mighty Gunners Ladies crowned 2026 NFA Cup champions after dominant final win

The 2026 Women’s NFA Cup concluded at the Independence Stadium with Mighty Gunners Ladies delivering a commanding performance to secure the title through a 4-0 victory over Khomas Nampol Ladies in the final.
The match was effectively decided in the first half, where Leena Alweendo produced a brilliant display by scoring a hat-trick before the break. In the second half, Nicole Philander added a fourth goal to complete a comfortable win.
Mighty Gunners Ladies walked away with N$150,000 in prize money after an outstanding tournament campaign in which they did not concede a single goal.
Khomas Nampol Ladies finished as runners-up and received N$70,000 in prize money.

In the third-place playoff, Julinho Athletic Ladies defeated Windhoek City 4-3 in a closely contested match to secure N$40,000.
Individual awards went to Leena Alweendo, who was named Player of the Tournament earn N$15000 and also finished as top scorer with seven goals, earning N$10,000.

Goalkeeper Melissa Matheus was named Goalkeeper of the Tournament and received N$10,000 for her performances throughout the competition.
