Monaco FC advance to Round of 32 after winning Kavango West Second Division NFA Cup 2026 preliminary rounds

MONACO FC have been crowned champions of the Kavango West Second Division NFA Cup 2026 after a thrilling final staged at Kahenge Sport Field over the weekend of 16–17 May 2026.
The two-day knockout competition delivered high-intensity football, with several matches decided through penalties and narrow margins as teams battled from the preliminary round to the final.
Preliminary Round – Saturday 16/05/2026
The tournament opened with closely contested fixtures. LK United edged KCR 2–1, while Red New Star advanced after a dramatic 6–5 penalty shootout victory over Kahenge Chelsea following a 1–1 draw in regulation time.
Monaco FC also progressed in dramatic fashion, defeating Chief Sitentu 7–6 on penalties after a goalless draw. Mutororo secured a solid 3–1 win over Time Boys, while Manyenzere booked their quarter-final place with a 2–0 victory over LK United.
Quarter-Finals – Sunday 17/05/2026
Early morning action at 07h00 saw Red New Star defeat Nankudu 2–0, while Monaco FC continued their strong form with a 2–1 win over Kulisuka Palace. Mutororo advanced after a narrow 1–0 victory over YW Fighter.
Manyenzere secured a 2–0 win over Red New Star to reach the final, while Monaco FC edged Mutororo 1–0 in a tightly contested semi-final.

The championship match produced another competitive encounter, with Monaco FC defeating Manyenzere 2–1 to lift the Kavango West Second Division NFA Cup 2026 title.
