Peter Shalulile Linked With Surprise Move to Zimbabwean Side Scottland FC

Namibian striker Peter Shalulile could be set for a shock move from Mamelodi Sundowns, with reports suggesting that Zimbabwean ambitious club Scottland FC are exploring a possible deal to sign the forward.
Sources close to the situation indicate that Shalulile’s representatives are currently in discussions with Scottland FC as the club looks to strengthen its squad ahead of a potential push in CAF interclub competitions.
The Zimbabwean side, which has been making bold moves in the transfer market, is believed to have tabled a short-term offer reportedly worth around US$250,000 (approximately R4 million). This figure is said to be higher than offers coming from clubs in Saudi Arabia’s Pro League, as well as interest from teams in Qatar, Sudan’s Al Hilal, and Tanzania’s Simba SC.

Shalulile, one of the most respected strikers in African football, has struggled for regular game time at Mamelodi Sundowns under the current Coach. Despite his strong reputation and proven goal-scoring record in the league, he has not featured consistently this season.

With his contract at Sundowns set to expire at the end of the month, uncertainty continues to grow around his future, opening the door for interested clubs to make their move.
Scottland FC’s growing ambition and financial backing have seen them linked with several high-profile players, and a potential signing of Shalulile would mark one of the biggest transfers in Zimbabwean football history.
Negotiations are still ongoing, and no final decision has been made regarding the striker’s next destination.
