KK United FC Reclaim Top Spot in the NESFD

KK United FC returned to the summit of the North East Stream First Division (NESFD) standings following an impressive weekend performance in which they collected four points and netted five goals.
The club’s resurgence was highlighted by a crucial victory over fellow contenders Cuca Tops FC. Despite also securing four points from their weekend fixtures, Cuca Tops FC fell short in the goal tally, managing four goals compared to KK United’s five, a margin that ultimately proved decisive in the race for first place.
KK United’s attacking efficiency and ability to convert chances played a key role in their climb back to the top, underlining their title ambitions as the competition intensifies.
Meanwhile, Ntunguru FC emerged as the only team in the NESFD to secure a maximum six points over the weekend. The results extended their total number of wins to three from ten matches. Ntunguru FC currently occupy 10th position on the table with 11 points, reflecting steady progress as they seek to improve their standing in the league.
With the season gaining momentum, the battle at both ends of the table continues to take shape, promising heightened competition in the coming rounds.
